The Berlin Graduate School of Ancient Studies began its work in October 2011. The doctoral programs “Ancient Languages and Texts” and “Landscape Archaeology and Architecture” have startet in the summer semester of the academic year 2012. A number of 10 doctoral stipends have been avaible on a competitive basis.
At present opportunites for PhD study in the doctoral programs “Ancient Languages and Texts” (application) and “History of Ancient Science” (application) are advertised. Opportunities for PhD study awarded in conjunction with the doctoral program “Landscape Archaeology and Architecture” will be announced soon. Two additional programs, “Material Cultures and Object Studies” and “Languages and Cultures of the Silk Road”, will be established soon. The announcements target national and international applicants from all fields in the ancient studies.

Die Berlin Graduate School of Ancient Studies hat ihre Arbeit im Oktober 2011 aufgenommen. Die Promotionsprogramme “Ancient Languages and Texts” und “Landscape Archaeology and Architecture” sind zum Somersemester 2012 gestartet. In diesem Zusammenhang wurden 10 Stipendien vergeben.
Aktuell sind Studienplätze in den Promotionsprogrammen “Ancient Languages and Texts” (Ausschreibung) und “History of Ancient Science” (Ausschreibung) ausgeschrieben. Die Ausschreibung von Studienplätzen, die in Verbindung mit dem Promotionsprogramm ”Landscape Archaeology and Architecture” angeboten werden, erfolgt in Kürze. Zwei weitere Programme, “Material Cultures and Object Studies” und „Languages and Cultures of the Silk Road”, werden demnächst eingerichtet. Die Ausschreibungen richten sich an nationale und internationale Bewerberinnen und Bewerber aus allen altertumswissenschaftlichen Fächern.
