With regard to publications, the Berliner Antike-Kolleg is obliged to uphold the authors’ copyright concerning any graphics, audio recordings, video sequences and texts which may be used. The Kolleg endeavours only to make use of graphics, audio recordings, video sequences and texts produced within the Kolleg itself, or to draw on unlicensed graphics, audio recordings, video sequences and texts. Unless the material is clearly stated to be unlicensed, it is prohibited to reproduce or use any graphics, audio recordings, video sequences and texts displayed on the internet pages of the Berliner Antike-Kolleg in other electronic or printed publications without having obtained the prior consent of the author concerned.

4. Data protection
In the event that any parts of the Kolleg’s internet site may contain the possibility to enter personal or business data (e-mail addresses, names, postal addresses), provision of any such information will be entirely voluntary on the part of the user.

5. Analytics
This website uses Piwik, a web analytics open-source software. Piwik uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to statistically evaluate visitor behaviour. The information generated by the cookie will be stored on the server of the Excellence Cluster Topoi in Germany. The collected data is anonymised and not shared with third-parties and only allows us to identify and improve the relevant website content.

The IP address is immediately anonymised as soon as it is processed and saved. Piwik is configured as recommended by the Independent State Centre for Data Protection (ULD) and complies with all current data protection regulations.
