Management & Functional Use of Mineral Resources in Ancient Sri Lanka: A Study of Selected Mineral Resources and Ancient Material Remains in Anuradhapura Period

The research focused on the material culture of the ancient Anuradhapura period, Sri Lanka. This investigation aimed to localize the origin of mineral resources (sources), to reconstruct their production techniques, the distribution of raw material as well as processed material and their usage. The selected mineral resources were restricted to building material (rock).
