On 4 November 2022, the Joint Science Conference ("Gemeinsame Wissenschaftskonferenz" – GWK) decided to accept eight more consortia into the NFDI federal-state funding program. The consortium "NFDI4Objects – Research Data Infrastructure for the Material Remains of Human History" is also included and can now begin its work! The Berlin Graduate School of Ancient Studies (BerGSAS) is involved in NFDI4Objects as a "participant" and will cooperate with the consortium in the area of digital research and data management.
