Marie Joselin Düsenberg studied Social and Cultural Anthropology and Ancient History at the Freie Universität Berlin. Between 2015 and 2018 she worked as a student assistant at the Excellence Cluster Topoi. In 2018 she completed her master's degree with a thesis on the depiction of the Boudicca Uprising in Roman historiography and worked as a freelancer in the project coordination of a project at Freie Universität and in the editorial department of the Excellence Cluster.

Since 2019, she has been working as an editor for Edition Topoi and is responsible for the pending academic publications of the Excellence Cluster.
