The board of directors is responsible for the structural and thematic development of BerGSAS and decides, among other things, on the admission of doctoral candidates to the graduate school.

Joint Commission

Each of the Humboldt-Universität faculties and Freie Universität departments involved in the graduate school is represented in the joint commission (pursuant to § 74 par. 1, 2, 4, 6 of the Berlin Higher Education Act). The joint commission issues all BerGSAS regulations.
