Advertisement of 6 Scholarschips for Doctoral Studies
The Berlin Graduate School of Ancient Studies (BerGSAS) invites applications for a total of six scholarships in three different doctoral programs for the winter semester 2024/25. The call for applications is addressed to applicants who are not German nationals. The scholarships are funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).

The scolarships are assigned to the doctoral programs Ancient Languages and Texts, Ancient Philosophy and History of Ancient Science and Languages and Cuktures of the Silk Road.
The scholarship is available from October 2024 for four years. Applicants must hold an outstanding Master's degree (MA, MSt, or MSc) or equivalent in one of the aforementioned disciplines or be very close to completion. Applications must be submitted electronically via the BerGSAS portal by 1 November 2023.
